Base pay range

Senior Software Developer – API development, .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, WCF - Upto £48K - £60K + excellent benefits – Hybrid, Bradford office

Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire with Hybrid Work Arrangements (2 – 4 days a month in the office)

Our client, a leading organisation in the region, is seeking to recruit a Senior Software Developer to work primarily on Microservice based APIs built using .NET (C#) deployed on Azure Cloud.

You will work closely with software development architects to deliver within agreed patterns and standards for design, build and implementation of hosted solutions / API’s.

You will drive delivery of our microservice API’s hosted in Azure working within a cross functional agile team aligned with customer facing applications.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong background in C# / .NET development (Framework and/or Core) with commercial experience delivering robust and reliable API services within Azure cloud environment
• Proven track record of driving sustainable performance against challenging business targets, in two or more of the following technical disciplines:
• MS SQL and database design experience including writing SQL scripts
• Excellent understanding of Service Oriented Architecture design that integrate correctly
• Excellent knowledge of documentation, testing and release management principles with the ability to prioritise and execute tasks in a dynamic, changing environment
• Highly motivated and self-reliant with a personal drive for continuous development you will have proven analytical and problem solving abilities and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Extensive knowledge of the system development lifecycle including DevOps processes, CI/CD, writing Unit Tests etc.
• Experience working with React 18
• Previous experience working with the MuleSoft Design pattern
• Experience using APIM including use of policies, caching and security aspects
• Exposure working with Azure Functions
• Familiarity with Agile delivery and modern engineering practices (e.g. TDD, CI/CD)
