Senior Structural Engineer – Aylesbury. Ref MR900. Salary up to £55,000. Are you an experienced structural engineer who has worked on a mix of residential and commercial structural design looking for opportunities near Aylesbury?

I am currently looking for an individual who can design in steel, concrete and masonry and has worked on UK based projects. Our client works on small to medium scale projects up to the value of around £20 million. Responsibilities

• Design in steel, concrete and masonry for residential and commercial projects
• Contribute to small to medium scale projects up to £20 million
• Work as part of a small, close-knit design team
• Complete structural surveys
• Communicate effectively with the team and stakeholders
• Adapt to contemporary material design and UK-based project requirements
• Work from home one day per week as part of flexible arrangements

Qualifications

• Degree in civil or structural engineering
• 4-5 years minimum experience in building structures design
• Experience on residential projects
• Experience completing structural surveys
• Experience using CAD; TEKLA/TEDDS would be beneficial
• Previously worked on UK-based projects
• Comfortable designing in contemporary materials
• Strong communication skills
• Ideally live within an hour’s commute of the office, or relocation is considered
