This is a permanent position offering the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across the commercial, industrial, health, leisure, retail, and residential sectors. You will play a key role in delivering innovative designs while contributing to the continued growth of the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the structural design of new build projects across multiple sectors
  • Prepare detailed calculation packages to support project delivery
  • Undertake structural inspections and prepare engineering reports across the UK
  • Attend and represent the company at design team meetings and site visits
  • Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and contribute to team development
  • Manage project assessments and prepare fee proposals where required

What They're Looking For

  • Chartered Structural Engineer (MIStructE) or close to achieving chartership
  • Minimum 4 years UK-based consultancy experience
  • Strong design expertise across structural materials, foundations, and retaining walls
  • Proficiency in TEKLA and TEDDS software (essential) with AutoCAD experience required
  • Knowledge of current technical standards including Eurocodes
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills with the ability to build strong professional relationships
  • Willingness to travel across the UK for site inspections and meetings
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience in REVIT and Roads & Sewer design is desirable but not essential
