Your Impact as Senior Talent Acquisition Partner
- Own End-to-End Recruitment: Lead the complete recruitment lifecycle across our technical departments, across all levels of seniority, from initial sourcing through to successful onboarding.
- Build Strategic Talent Pipelines: Develop and maintain robust pipelines of exceptional engineering talent across data engineering, software development, DevOps, and AI/ML specialisms.
- Partner with Technical Leaders Across the Business: Collaborate closely with Engineering Managers, Lead Engineers, Product Leaders and technical teams to understand evolving hiring needs and technical requirements.
- Elevate Our Employer Brand: Represent QuantSpark at tech events, meet-ups, and conferences to build our reputation as a destination for top engineering talent.
- Drive Recruitment Innovation: Implement cutting-edge sourcing strategies, assessment methodologies, and candidate experience improvements.
- Mentor and Develop: Contribute to building our internal recruitment capabilities offering guidance and best practice principals to our internal hiring teams.

- Technical Assessment Excellence: Design and implement robust technical evaluation processes and hiring scorecards that identify and evaluate both technical excellence and cultural fit.
- Scaling Quality Standards: Maintain our hiring standard of excellence while significantly increasing recruitment velocity.
- Hybrid Recruitment Adaptation: Optimise recruitment processes for hybrid working models understanding the nuances of in-person and remote interviewing,
- Diverse Talent Acquisition: Build inclusive hiring practices that attract underrepresented groups in technology.
Recruitment Expertise
- 5+ years of proven success in technical recruitment, with substantial experience hiring for technical roles across various levels of seniority.
- Deep understanding of engineering disciplines including data engineering, software development, DevOps, and AI/ML.
- Expertise in sourcing strategies across LinkedIn, Hackajob, Welcome to The Jungle and additional sourcing tools.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (experience using Screenloop is a bonus), recruitment analytics, and performance metrics.
- Strong track record of building and managing talent pipelines in competitive markets.
Technical Understanding
- Solid grasp of modern tech stacks including Python, React.js, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and data tools (dbt, Airflow, Snowflake) from a recruitment perspective.
- Ability to assess technical skills through structured interviews and practical assessments.
- Understanding of software development practices, agile methodologies, and DevOps culture.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and emerging technologies in the data space.
Stakeholder Management
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence hiring managers and senior leadership.
- Strong project management capabilities with ability to handle multiple searches simultaneously.
- Proven ability to provide strategic recruitment advice and market insights.
