Talent Acquisition Specialist | Internal Recruiter

This is a key role for someone who thrives on building talent pipelines, shaping hiring strategies, and bringing recruitment best practice into a complex, mission-driven business.

Role Overview:

• Location: Milton Keynes (Hybrid) 3 days a week onsite
• Industry: Transport, Infrastructure, Public Sector

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Owning the full recruitment lifecycle across both technical and non-technical roles
• Building direct sourcing strategies to attract diverse, high-quality talent
• Partnering closely with hiring managers to design and deliver inclusive hiring campaigns
• Leading candidate engagement from application through to onboarding
• Acting as the go-to for external secondments and early careers coordination
• Maintaining proactive talent pipelines and supporting succession planning
• Tracking costs and ensuring value-driven hiring decisions
• Playing an active role in wider ED&I initiatives

Main Skills Needed:

• Strong experience delivering end-to-end recruitment in complex or regulated sectors
• Confident sourcing across multiple channels and role levels
• Knowledge of inclusive recruitment practices and commitment to ED&I
• Experience supporting succession or workforce planning
• Solid ATS skills and high attention to detail
• Bonus if you’ve worked with government frameworks or public sector protocols
