Senior Talent Engagement Executive role at Pinsent Masons. The role sits within the Vario Flexible Services team and supports the global talent engagement strategy within the UK, focusing on Engagement and Recruitment activities for the consultant lawyer Hub.

Responsibilities

  • Engagement – outbound engagement via call and email to our talent base to maintain connectivity
  • Organising and attending candidate-facing events (with marketing support)
  • Robust database management – accurately recording activity and updating records; regularly refreshing candidate profiles
  • Ownership of weekly candidate check-in meetings with the broader Account Management team
  • Maintaining talent pools in the UK
  • Recruitment – first point of contact for enquiries from new potential contractors
  • Advertising roles on LinkedIn and identifying other channels to reach talent
  • Head-hunting and market mapping for specific roles
  • Managing the UK recruitment funnel: reviewing applications, pre-screening, providing feedback, and progressing to the next stage
  • Providing input to continuously enhance recruitment processes
  • Collaborating with other Pinsent Masons talent teams to share talent and best practice
  • Other responsibilities – support the Talent Engagement Lead on strategic engagement projects (e.g., launch of a training platform and Diversity reporting)
  • Establish trusted relationships with the Account Management team
  • Seek new and innovative ideas to engage legal talent and promote the Pinsent Masons Vario brand

Our standard working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm, with flexible working requests considered. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for candidates who ideally have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in a professional services environment with a strong customer service mentality
  • Robust understanding of the legal market and Pinsent Masons sectors
  • Legal or professional recruitment experience; LinkedIn Recruiter experience is desirable
  • Energetic with outbound contact – making calls and staying in touch with candidates
  • Organised and methodical; all enquiries recorded accurately in the database
  • A team player who goes the extra mile to ensure quality output
