Job Title: Planner / Senior Planner / Associate Director

Location: Edinburgh or Galashiels

About the Opportunity

An established planning consultancy is looking to expand its team with up to two hires at Planner, Senior Planner, or Associate Director level. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a diverse range of development projects across Scotland and the wider UK, covering multiple sectors including renewables, commercial, and residential.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality town planning services across a range of sectors.
• Lead and support on planning applications, appeals, and related projects.
• Manage projects effectively, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.
• Maintain and develop strong client relationships, supporting business growth.
• Contribute to business development activities and the consultancy's growth strategy.
• Provide guidance and support to junior colleagues where appropriate.

What We\'re Looking For

• Experience working as a Town Planner (ideally with exposure to renewables, commercial, and residential projects).
• Strong project management skills with excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proven ability in client relationship management and business development.
• MRTPI status (achieved or working towards).
