Location: Central London (hybrid/flexible working)

I’m looking for an experienced Transport Planner with 3–7 years’ experience for a Senior Transport Planner vacancy in Central London. You’d join an established, specialist consultancy and work on a range of development plans across the UK, with the independence to lead your own schemes and support from the 4 Directors and Associate Director to develop your knowledge.

What You\'ll Do as a Senior Transport Planner

• Prepare and review Transport Assessments/Statements, Travel Plans, etc.
• Undertake junction modelling, assess active travel outcomes, and design junction layouts using CAD.
• Collaborate closely with developers, architects, town planners and other stakeholders.
• Mentor junior planners, support business development (proposal writing, client presentations), and foster client relationships.

Senior Transport Planner requirements

• Relevant degree (e.g., Geography or Mathematics); MSc in Transport Planning would be beneficial.
• Extensive experience in transport planning consultancy with hands-on delivery of assessments, statements, travel plans, CTMPs, and highway design.
• Proficiency in junction modelling tools (OSCADDY, ARCADY, PICARDY) or LinSig.
• Ideally working towards, or holding Chartership with CIHT.
