G.Digital have partnered with a leading UK Consultancy to help them find an exceptional Senior User Researcher.

You’ll be joining a fantastic, collaborative User-Centred Design practice with a proven track record of delivering high-impact projects across both public and private sectors.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone with strong UCD and GDS experience who’s ready to take the lead, drive strategy, and shape meaningful services that make a real difference.

Responsibilities

• Solid experience as a User Researcher within agile teams and complex programmes
• Proven ability to work end-to-end across projects, from discovery through to delivery
• Expertise in user research methods and tools, with the ability to translate findings into actionable insights
• Experience running discoveries to GDS/NHS service standards (healthcare sector experience is a bonus)
• Experience mentoring and supporting UCD/research teams
• Bonus skills in related disciplines such as service design or content/communication design
• Scope and deliver user research activities across end-to-end projects
• Collaborate with a high-performing UCD team, ensuring research insights shape design and delivery
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment and buy-in
• Support clients through all phases of the design process - from ideation to implementation
• Contribute to the growth and development of the UCD practice, mentoring others and evolving approaches

• High-impact research projects that inform design and strategy across sectors
• Phase-appropriate deliverables that clearly articulate problems, scope, and success criteria
• Workshops and sessions (remote and in-person) to align teams and uncover opportunities
• Contributions to business development, supporting bids and proposals with UCD expertise
• The growth of a community of practice, applying DesignOps principles to strengthen and scale
