Position Overview

As a Senior User Experience (UX) design lead within Anti‑Financial‑Crime (AFC) Technology, you will create beautiful and functional applications, collaborate with teams to define and realize a product vision that supports a one‑stop shop for AFC. AFC Technology provides tools to the AFC function to perform a critical role in keeping Deutsche Bank’s business operations and the global financial services clean from financial crime.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Support user research: gather insights for new product, participate in end‑user and stakeholder interviews, workshops and user testing sessions, and assist in producing UX documents like journey maps and personas.
  • Apply innovative thinking to design concepts, blending user needs, business vision and technical limitations.
  • Effectively present ideas and concepts as wireframes and prototypes to stakeholders, developers, design team members and Product Owners.
  • Work as part of a delivery team, collaborating with others to understand requirements, analyse and help refine stories, design solutions, document wireframes and test them.
  • Contribute to building and maintaining a common User Interface (UI) component and design library.
  • Advocate the latest design trends and practices, help create a culture of learning and continuous improvement within your team and beyond.

Your Skills And Experience

  • Industry experience in user experience design/interaction design working on complex web applications.
  • Deep understanding of user‑centred design processes and strong aesthetic sense.
  • Extensive experience in delivering end‑to‑end experience – from user research to concepts to design documentation.
  • Background in creating high‑quality complex web‑based user interfaces that are easy to navigate, linkable, responsive and accessible.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma and working knowledge of HTML/CSS, JavaScript and Databases.
  • Self‑motivated to prioritise and manage workload.
