Job Description

A globally recognised manufacturer requires an additional team member to support their worldwide projects. Travel will be approximately 80%, with 60% being international. A flexible Multiskilled Engineer with a positive outlook is required.

Service & Commissioning Engineer - £40-47k + OTE £60k+

Role:

• Commission and service machinery equipment worldwide
• Liaise with customers courteously and professionally at all times
• Support customers remotely
• Ensure highest standards of quality and safety wherever working
• Contribute to product development through continuous improvement and innovation

Person Specification:

• Willing to travel worldwide, including UK and Europe
• C&G/HNC qualified minimum
• Experienced in service work, including fault finding on heavy industrial equipment
• Solid fault-finding skills with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to fault find PLCs; creating modifications to PLC software would be highly advantageous but not essential
• Located in the Peterborough area; candidates in Corby, Uppingham, Yaxley, Huntingdon, Wisbech, Stamford, and surrounding areas are encouraged to apply
