Job Title: Project / Site Manager – Residential New Build
Location: Bilston area (with occasional office days in Birmingham)
Salary: £45,000 – £65,000 per annum (PAYE, DOE)

Vector are currently working with a growing construction firm who are looking to hire a dynamic Project / Site Manager to take the lead on a range of residential construction projects, beginning with a 34-plot development. This hybrid role offers the chance to oversee multiple sites and play a key part in driving projects from the ground up. Key Responsibilities

- Lead day-to-day operations on residential new build sites.
- Take charge of a 34-plot site initially, with more projects in the pipeline.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour effectively.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and internal procurement teams.
- Interpret technical drawings and ensure works meet required standards.
- Uphold high health & safety standards across all activities.
- Support contract management tasks and reporting as required.
- Ensure project deadlines and quality expectations are met or exceeded.

What We’re Looking For

- Proven experience as a Site Manager or Project Manager in residential construction.
- SMSTS and CSCS Black/Gold Card
- Comfortable working within smaller, growing businesses – must be adaptable to evolving processes.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and resolve challenges proactively.
- Solid understanding of technical construction requirements and drawings.
- A self-starter who can take ownership of projects – including those inherited mid-phase.
