Join to apply for the Site Reliability Engineer – Mobility Platforms role at Deutsche Bank

Position Overview

As a Mobility Site Reliability Engineer on our End User Computing team, you will be a key member of the team making the bank’s hybrid working model possible. You will ensure the stability of Mobile Device Management platforms like Microsoft Intune to enable our colleagues to work from anywhere.

As a skilled member of a global team, you will partner with engineering and product colleagues inside and outside your core team to detect and respond to issues, prepare and execute Disaster Recovery plans, and plan and implement safe scalable changes in a blend of Agile ceremonies and ITILv4 process.

What We’ll Offer You

  • Hybrid Working – we understand that employee expectations and preferences are changing. We have implemented a model that enables eligible employees to work remotely for a part of their working time and reach a working pattern that works for them.
  • Competitive salary and non-contributory pension.
  • 30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to purchase additional days.
  • Life Assurance and Private Healthcare for you and your family.
  • A range of flexible benefits including Retail Discounts, a Bike4Work scheme and Gym benefits.
  • The opportunity to support a wide ranging CSR programme + 2 days’ volunteering leave per year.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to user and platform incidents for our mobile device platforms in ServiceNow with an engineering mind – assessing root cause to stop the incidents from coming again by drafting knowledge, automation, or recommending product enhancements.
  • Develop strategies to detect and respond to issues on our platforms, provide self-healing or self-service options for impacted end-users, and consumable technical and end-user knowledge for the platform.
  • Strong technical resource to share and exchange knowledge with your squad mates as well as support teams across the bank, enabling our teams to continuously learn and better respond to issues.
  • Plan and deploy changes safely – we are continuously improving, you will need an engineering mindset to understand change being proposed, potential risks and impacts, and mitigation strategies to drive safe change on this platform, and consider if CI/CD pipelines can be built for repeatable change.
  • Participate in daily huddles and agile ceremonies with your squad mates to coordinate and plan.

Your Skills And Experience

  • Demonstratable experience at Level 2 or 3 supporting end-user devices on the Apple iOS platform.
  • Demonstratable experience supporting, implementing, or engineering Mobile Device Management platforms like Airwatch, MobileIron, JAMF, or Intune at Level 2 or 3.
  • Demonstratable understanding of the basics of Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Demonstratable understanding of Site Reliability Engineering concepts.

How We’ll Support You

  • Training and development to help you excel in your career.
  • Coaching and support from experts in your team.
  • A culture of continuous learning to aid progression.
  • A range of flexible benefits that you can tailor to suit your needs.
  • We value diversity and as an equal opportunities’ employer, we make reasonable adjustments for those with a disability such as the provision of assistive equipment if required (e.g. screen readers, assistive hearing devices, adapted keyboards).
