We are recruiting for a dynamic Technical Security Service Delivery Manager to join our growing Security Operations Centre business. This is a hybrid vacancy based in Birmingham or London.

What you’ll be doing

Using your background in SOC Service Delivery and experience, you will:

• Act as a bridge between the Customer and the Operational Delivery Teams
• Act as a primary escalation point of contact to the customer
• Coordinate the Security Operations, Incident Response Teams and other technical resources to troubleshoot major incidents, identifying affected systems and users
• Identify any business areas impacted and coordinate communications with all relevant stakeholders as per Major Incident Management process
• Coordinate remediation and containment activities as advised by the SOC or Incident Response Team
• Oversee and manage investigative and remediation activities in conjunction with relevant support teams
• Coordinate post-incident investigations with relevant teams or third parties and document the report for the customer
• Provide support and guidance to NTT DATA Delivery Teams and ensure compliance with SLAs, quality standards, and client expectations
• Document and present weekly and/or monthly service review reports to the customer
• Support Senior Service Delivery Manager in reviewing service delivery processes and workflows, identifying optimization opportunities and implementing best practices
• Coordinate risk-based vulnerability management including scanning systems, networks, and applications to detect weaknesses
• Prioritize vulnerabilities by risk, impact, and asset criticality, ensuring high-risk items are addressed first
• Work with Customer Business Owners to ensure understanding of risks and coordinate remediation
• Oversee the upkeep of IDS/IPS signatures for the customer’s security gateways and firewalls

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for individuals with broad experience in security service delivery management and evidence in several of the following areas:

• About 8 years of experience providing technical support and advice for a Security Operations Centre
• In-depth knowledge of security incident management and security operations
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills with stakeholders and senior leadership
• At least 5 years’ experience in providing Vulnerability Management Services
• Experience and knowledge in supporting and managing IDS & IPS technologies
• Experience leading in crisis situations with swift, effective response
• Proven ability to lead and coordinate diverse teams
• Valid right to work in the UK
• Held UK SC clearance or eligible to obtain UK SC clearance
• Excellent English writing skills for technical documents and process improvements
• Strong English verbal communication skills for clear, non-technical explanations
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work
• Relevant professional Security / Risk / Compliance certifications (e.g., CISSP, CICM, GCIH)
