Macquarie Asset Management’s Corporate Communications team drives the development and execution of our global communication strategies. You will play a key role in shaping and amplifying our social media presence, ensuring alignment with our business goals and fostering engagement with our diverse global audience.

What role will you play?

As Social Media Lead, you will drive the development and delivery of Macquarie Asset Management’s global social media strategy. This includes creating and curating content, managing governance processes, overseeing budget management, supporting staff advocacy programmes, and analysing performance across both organic and paid social media activities.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across the business and communications teams globally to curate impactful campaigns and content, identify innovative ways to grow and maximise our social media impact, monitor and report on campaign performance, share insights and recommendations, and enhance governance processes while adhering to risk management frameworks.

What You Offer

  • Over 5 years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in organic and paid social media, community management, and reporting
  • Exceptional stakeholder relationship management skills and a client-focused approach
  • A collaborative working style, with the ability to autonomously drive key initiatives
  • Proficient in social media channel utilisation, particularly LinkedIn
  • Experience with social media technologies, preferably Sprinklr and Smarsh
  • A data-driven mindset with the ability to educate and influence stakeholders in decision-making
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high attention to detail
  • Strong commercial acumen with a desire to drive business outcomes
