Digital Audit Solutions Architect

The Digital Audit Solutions Architect is responsible for designing, developing and implementing Digital Audit solutions across the organisation. You will define the architecture, create solution designs and ensure the successful delivery of projects. Working closely with Development Teams, Product Owners and other stakeholders, you will deliver high‑quality software solutions. The role is open to all UK locations, with flexible working and part‑time options considered.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement architectural strategies, governance, plans and procedures to ensure high‑quality software delivery.
  • Design and manage all solution architecture activities, including functional, non‑functional and integration aspects.
  • Provide guidance and support to developers.
  • Collaborate with Development Teams and Product Owners to coordinate the delivery of solutions.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation related to architectural activities.
  • Ensure alignment of architectural activities with other lifecycle activities such as requirements analysis, design and implementation.
  • Present architectural improvements and developments in daily progress meetings.
  • Manage tools development and configuration management activities.

Qualifications

  • Experienced architect ready to move from individual contributor to team lead or having a proven track record of leading architectural teams.
  • Knowledge of low‑code platforms (e.g., PowerApps, Appian) and Python programming.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.
  • Strong understanding of architectural design techniques and best practices.
  • Experience in solution planning, analysis, design and implementation.
  • Familiarity with integration tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
