Overview

We are currently seeking a Stock Condition Surveyor to join a long-term project in the Cambridge area, working closely with key Housing clients to assess and report on property conditions.

Contract Type: Zero-hour
Start Date: Within the next 1-2 months
Duration: 3-year contract with potential for a permanent assignment
Pay: £30 per completed survey
Expected Output: Approx. 10 surveys per day
Sector: Housing

This is a flexible, commission-based role ideal for experienced surveyors looking for autonomy and consistent work.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct stock condition surveys across residential properties
  • Record and report findings accurately and efficiently
  • Liaise with housing association teams and tenants as needed
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and frameworks

Requirements

  • Proven experience in stock condition surveying
  • Familiarity with HHSRS (Housing Health and Safety Rating System) is highly desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Own transport and equipment
