This role involves overseeing market research activities, analysing industry trends, evaluating growth opportunities and potential risks, and providing strategic insights to senior management. The Strategy Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to help build strategic plans for the business and deliver meaningful business impact.**Key Responsibilities:*** Leading market research and analysis to identify and assess industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities.* Developing and implementing strategies for medium to long-term growth, including exploring new categories, geographies, routes to market, customer audiences, and business models.* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess potential organic and inorganic opportunities, providing strategic input and challenge.* Presenting findings, recommendations, and strategic insights to senior management and key stakeholders.* Managing internal and external data sources to support strategic decision-making.* Manage discrete strategic outputs, supporting the development of junior colleagues, and engaging with teams across the business**Skills and experience required:*** Practical experience working within a strategy function (in-house or consultancy), supporting the development of strategic plans, delivering robust fact-bases using internal and external data points, and driving strategic insights and value to the organisation. They will be* Proficient in Excel and data modelling* Capable of keeping proactive in staying informed about industry trends, best practices, and the impact of external factors.* Previous experience assessing competitive landscapes and analysing businesses.* Practical knowledge of either insurance, financial services and/or retail after care service sectors are desirable.* Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills* Ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, including the Senior Executive team.**We offer lots of great benefits!
