About the Role

This is your chance to take the lead on projects that make a real impact. Reporting to our Associate or Principal Engineer, you’ll either head up small to medium Civil & Structural (C&S) projects or play a key role in delivering complex, high-value programmes. You’ll manage specific design packages from concept through to delivery, ensuring every detail meets our high standards for cost, schedule, and quality.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing and delivering design packages that meet cost, schedule, and quality goals
  • Leading small teams to produce accurate design calculations and drawings
  • Ensuring designs meet our quality and management systems
  • Adapting to change and keeping projects on track with input from the Project Manager

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong technical skills in structural design methods, codes, and standards
  • Experience in foundation design, drainage, earthworks, and external infrastructure
  • Proven ability to thrive in integrated, multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of CDM regulations and health & safety requirements
  • Confident leadership, communication, and presentation abilities
  • Experience in nuclear, defence, public sector, highways, or contaminated land projects is beneficial

It’s a Bonus If You Have

  • Chartered status (CEng MICE or MIStructE)
  • Knowledge of seismic design and ground improvement techniques
