Design. Lead. Deliver. Structural Engineering at Its Best
About the Role
This is your chance to take the lead on projects that make a real impact. Reporting to our Associate or Principal Engineer, you’ll either head up small to medium Civil & Structural (C&S) projects or play a key role in delivering complex, high-value programmes. You’ll manage specific design packages from concept through to delivery, ensuring every detail meets our high standards for cost, schedule, and quality.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing and delivering design packages that meet cost, schedule, and quality goals
- Leading small teams to produce accurate design calculations and drawings
- Ensuring designs meet our quality and management systems
- Adapting to change and keeping projects on track with input from the Project Manager
What We’re Looking For
- Strong technical skills in structural design methods, codes, and standards
- Experience in foundation design, drainage, earthworks, and external infrastructure
- Proven ability to thrive in integrated, multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of CDM regulations and health & safety requirements
- Confident leadership, communication, and presentation abilities
- Experience in nuclear, defence, public sector, highways, or contaminated land projects is beneficial
It’s a Bonus If You Have
- Chartered status (CEng MICE or MIStructE)
- Knowledge of seismic design and ground improvement techniques
