Clarke is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our Engineering team and take ownership of structural design across a wide range of telecom infrastructure projects. This is a critical technical role for someone with deep structural engineering expertise, telecoms experience, and a proactive mindset. The role can be carried out remotely, or from office locations in Manchester, Glasgow or Redhill.

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design process from feasibility to build-ready documentation.
• Produce and sign off Planning Drawings, Detailed Designs, and structural calculations.
• Conduct feasibility and design surveys, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Liaise with clients, site providers, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, CDM 2015, and Health & Safety standards.
• Manage internal and external CAD quality and feedback.
• Maintain project documentation including Design Risk Assessments.
• Support cost-saving initiatives through material reuse and efficient design.

Essential

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Experience designing structural components for telecom site deployment.
• Strong CAD quality assurance skills.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and remote collaboration.
• Knowledge of CDM 2015 and Health & Safety regulations.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.
