Role: Sustainable Certification Team Lead, United Kingdom — WSP in the UK & Ireland.

We are looking for an experienced leader to define, develop and grow the Sustainable Certification services within WSP's Sustainability Advisory for the Built Environment. This role sits on the Built Environment leadership team and drives strategic growth, client care, project delivery, technical excellence and operational performance.

The Team

Our Sustainability Advisory Discipline delivers a broad range of sustainability advisory services, including climate change, corporate ESG, policy and permitting, health and safety, carbon and net zero, lenders and investors ESG, environmental due diligence, microclimate, sustainable certification and buildings and industrial decarbonisation. We work with clients across energy, water, industry, local government, transport, commercial property, financiers and investment, aviation, and more. We have specialists delivering integrated, multi-service advisory support across sectors.

A Little More About Your Role

As the Sustainable Certification Lead, you will define, develop, lead and grow this service at WSP. You will be a member of the Built Environment leadership team within Sustainability Advisory and responsible for the growth and development of Sustainable Certification services, contributing to broader sustainability services. You will have accountability for strategic growth, client care, project delivery, technical excellence and operational delivery. You will be an existing or aspiring business leader with a proven track record in a multi-disciplinary, client-centric environment. The business offers a broad service offering, so you should have a growing breadth of understanding across core discipline services and deep knowledge of Sustainable Certification services offered by WSP.
