Join to apply for the Sustainable Certification Team Lead, United Kingdom role at WSP in the UK & Ireland. This leadership position sits within the Sustainability Advisory discipline, specifically in the Built Environment, and focuses on defining, developing and growing Sustainable Certification services while contributing to broader sustainability services across the built environment.

What you’ll do

• Define, develop, lead and grow the Sustainable Certification service at WSP.
• Be a member of the Built Environment leadership team within Sustainability Advisory and collaborate with other service leads to drive growth, client care, project delivery and technical excellence.
• Take accountability for strategic growth, client care, project delivery, technical excellence and operational delivery for Sustainable Certification and related services.
• Contribute to the growth of wider sustainability services in the built environment in collaboration with other teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering Sustainable Certification and wider sustainability projects in the built or natural environment.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams and foster a positive safety culture.
• Strong knowledge of Sustainable Certification schemes (e.g., BREEAM, WELL, LEED, DREAM, and related frameworks).
• Educated to first/second degree level or equivalent; Chartered Status or membership of a relevant professional body is advantageous; ongoing professional development.
• Excellent communication, coaching and people development skills; ability to influence internally and externally and to lead business development activities.
• Experience in budgeting and profitability management to meet service-line targets.
• Driven to deliver high-quality technical work and excellent client care.
