About The Role: An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Systems Engineer – SME, to join the LTEWP IPT - Localising Typhoon Electronic Warfare Programme (LTEWP) team. LTEWP provides an in country Electronic Warfare Operational Support capability to the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF). The role focuses on the analysis of operational requirements relating to Electronic Warfare Database (EWDb) systems, performing an implementation assessment between two variants of the EWDb, assessing requirement shortfalls, and subsequently developing and defining technical requirements and specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze operational requirements related to Electronic Warfare Database systems (EWDb).
  • Perform implementation assessments between EWDb variants.
  • Identify requirement shortfalls and develop technical requirements and specifications.

Qualifications

  • Essential Skills & Qualifications:
    Knowledge of Electronic Warfare concepts and principles; knowledge and experience of operational use of Electronic Warfare support systems, specifically EW databases; competent to perform analysis of parametric data for effective storage within an EWDb.
  • Highly Desirable Skills & Qualifications:
    Ex RAF Air Warfare Centre Analysis SME – Database Squadron; experience with Rational DOORS Requirements Management tool or equivalent; knowledge or experience of EW Database systems and toolsets design, development and test.
