Principal Consultant – Tax with JSS Search

JSS Tax is hiring for a Tax Manager for a leading retail company based in Hertfordshire.

Contract Details

This is a day‑rate contract likely to last 3–6 months with a day rate of circa £450‑£550 per day.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Take on a stand‑alone in‑house tax role, taking ownership of all the tax affairs of the business.
• Provide cover while the business is undergoing a recruitment process for a permanent tax position.
• Manage tax compliance obligations and provide tax advisory and project work.
• Offer Temp‑to‑Perm possibility for the right candidate.

Requirements

• Immediately available tax professional.
• Experience of both direct and indirect tax.
• Comfortable with tax advisory, project work and management of tax compliance obligations.
• Willingness to work from the Hertfordshire head office (near Hatfield) on a hybrid basis.
• Ability to work full‑time or part‑time.
