What you will do:

• Manage a complex caseload, addressing challenging cases with expertise.
• Support and collaborate with the Group Manager to elevate standards across the team.
• Represent the service in the development of vital service provision or strategy initiatives.
• Oversee and lead staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to children, young people, and their families in compliance with good practice, legislation, and guidance.
• Ensure meticulous and comprehensive recording of information on relevant systems, capturing and evidencing the child’s voice.

Requirements:

• Social Work England (SWE) registration.
• Minimum of two years’ experience working as a social worker with children and families, including conducting assessments and statutory work.

Your role will largely take place in our vibrant Town Hall, conveniently located in Romford with excellent transport links including quick access to London Liverpool Street Station and major roads like the M25, A12, A406, and A127.
