ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We’ve built a newly created Lab focused on delivering resilient, secure, and customer-centric card services. As a Technical Application Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of card issuing and processing platforms, bringing deep domain expertise and technical leadership to a high-performing team.

You’ll work across BAU operations, service management frameworks and be expected to lead our 3rd party integrations helping us modernise and optimise our card technology stack. This is a hands-on role with strategic impact - ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments and wants to make a lasting difference.

DAY TO DAY, YOU WILL:

Operational Delivery & Strategic Planning - Own budget delivery and conduct complex analysis across your area. Contribute to strategic planning and deliver outcomes through established data and knowledge management systems.

Process Improvement & Change Delivery - Identify and address system and process gaps, delivering elements of change programmes. Develop product specifications and testing standards to support platform evolution.

Security & Governance - Provide input into IT Security policy development, implement supporting procedures, and monitor compliance across your domain.

Leadership & Capability Development - Manage and develop direct reports, set short-term objectives, and support performance management. Provide coaching and specialised training across the organisation, while investing in your own growth.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Deep Cards Domain Expertise – Proven experience in card issuing, card processing (TSYS, Fiserv, Global Processing Services (GPS) etc.)

Technical & Operational Excellence – Strong understanding of ITIL, service management, IAM, and disaster recovery testing.

Problem Solving & Delivery Focus – Skilled in analysing complex issues and delivering solutions within established systems and frameworks.
