Overview

Technical Author - North Yorkshire (Hybrid) - up to £40,000 + Benefits - Ref 1951

Responsibilities

• Create and supply all technical documentation required to support products, equipment and systems. This includes assembly instructions, user manuals, operating procedures and service and maintenance protocols.
• Work in a closely knit team of Technical Authors and Illustrators; depending on project size, you may be allocated one large project or multiple smaller projects simultaneously.
• Travel to sites as required; estimates suggest up to 5 days per month (most travel can be done as a day trip).

Ideal Requirements

• Previous experience working in the forces (Army, Navy or Air Force)
• Previous experience creating clear and concise documentation
• SC Cleared (or eligible for it)
• Any previous experience as a Technical Author is favourable but not essential
