Job Description
Technical Manager - Residential Developer
Up to £75,000 + Package | Hybrid Working
A well-established and growing housebuilder is seeking a Technical Manager to join their team, covering construction projects across Hampshire and Berkshire. This is a key hire driven by a strong development pipeline and increased project demand.
This role would suit an experienced Technical Manager or a Senior Technical Coordinator looking to take the next step in their career. You'll be working across multiple construction sites, taking full ownership of housing schemes from planning and design through to delivery and completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage technical aspects of residential housing projects from inception to completion
- Liaise with internal teams and external consultants to ensure smooth project delivery
- Oversee design coordination, engineering approvals, and technical compliance
- Work across both site and head office, with hybrid flexibility
- Ensure developments align with building regulations, planning conditions, and NHBC standards
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience with a residential developer or housebuilder is essential
- Background in civil engineering, architecture, or design coordination is advantageous
- Confident working independently and taking a project lead role
- Familiar with planning applications, technical drawings, utilities coordination, and site logistics
- Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset
What's on Offer:
- Basic salary up to £75,000 (depending on experience)
- Hybrid working between site, office, and home
- Supportive team environment with real career progression opportunities
- Ongoing pipeline of quality residential housing developments
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Technical Coordinator ready to step into a Technical Manager position, or for an existing Technical Manager seeking more autonomy and project variety within a reputable developer.
Please note that we are unable to consider candidates requiring work sponsorships or anyone outside of the construction sector.
