Job Title: Technical Sales Manager - Personal Care - UK

Location: Home-based

Our client is a well-established distributor of specialty chemicals, supplying customers across the UK and Europe. They are seeking a Technical Sales Manager to oversee the UK territory for their Personal Care division. This remote role is suited to a commercially driven professional with a solid technical background and experience in the specialty chemicals industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and strengthen customer relationships across all relevant market sectors
• Identify and develop new business opportunities
• Maintain a healthy pipeline of projects in line with supplier expectations
• Represent and promote the full product portfolio of personal care products
• Conduct regular customer visits and virtual meetings
• Attend internal sales meetings
• Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
• Occasional European travel for supplier meetings

Candidate Requirements

• Proven track record in technical sales within the specialty chemicals sector
• Knowledge of the UK specialty chemicals industry and the personal care market sector
• Comfortable presenting technical products and solutions to both commercial and technical stakeholders
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight as needed
• Self-motivated, organised, and proactive in managing territory and time
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Valid UK driving licence
• Must have the right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not available
