Your role

In the role of Technical Test lead , you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the performance of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define performance SLA and benchmarks, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. You will also be required to design an optimal test environment to simulate real-time scenarios. Required
Technology:

• Should possess over 8+ years of hands-on performance testing experience using tools like VSTS, JMeter, Neo Load, K6 etc.
• Candidate should have required C#,VBScript programming skills to create detailed effective test scripts to evaluate performance.
• Must possess a comprehensive understanding of the various application layers, coupled with specialized skills in evaluating how each layer impacts overall performance
• Should have adequate understanding of API’s and microservices and should be able to perform testing at API layer.
• Knowledge of monitoring different resources to evaluate performance.
• Experience in coordinating with different stakeholder to define performance SLA and benchmark the requirements
• Experience in examining the performance test results and identify and bottlenecks
• Good working experience in performance testing and API testing of Energy trading applications for upstream areas.
• Should be able to use code repos such as GIT, ADO and TFS. They should be able to checkout, make changes and check in the code to repository.
• Should be ablet to build and deploy the code to test environments using Maven, Jenkins or ADO
• Good Expertise on Jenkins/ ADO & Git branching strategy.
• Should be able to understand and create CI/CD pipeline
• Hands on experience in maintaining test scripts on Azure DevOps or TFS of any test management tool.
• Should be aware of Application monitoring tools like Splunk, Grafana, AppDynamics, PerfMon, top, vmstat and iostat .
• Hands on experience on functional automation tools like Selenium or Playwright will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of different types of applications such as web based, thick client and products etc.
• Clear understanding of databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, and data models.

• Should be able to analyze the given scenario and come up with the performance test approach.
• Problem solving skills. Talent should have ability to solve the problem and situation applying his knowledge and skills.
• Talent should be able to resolve conflicts of interest in the team.

• Ability to speak to customer: Talent should be able to speak to Product owner and understand the requirements by asking right questions.

• A performance testing expert who has worked on Energy Trading and risk management applications.
• Should have good working experience in performance testing and API testing of Energy trading applications for upstream areas.
• 8 years of hands-on performance testing experience using tools like VSTS, JMeter, Grafana, Splunk.
• Abilities to analyze and come up with appropriate performance strategies by applying his knowledge and expertise to support our customer’s needs.
• Ability to adjust in continuously evolving projects and work with a team which is focused on next generation testing technologies.
