OverviewTechnology Transfer Manager role at Cambridge University Press & Assessment. This position focuses on operationalising a portfolio of research and product development outputs to benefit Cambridge English's products and services. The role leads the technology transfer cycle to translate research into operational capabilities aligned with the organisation's innovation goals.ResponsibilitiesLead due diligence of research outputs to determine alignment with internal products, services, and roadmaps.Act as the key contact for operationalisation activities, liaising with academic researchers and product teams to identify opportunities for impact through the application of research outputs.Lead the development and implementation of plans to transfer technology and knowledge from external research partners and internal research teams to internal product and capability teams.Manage existing and new patents resulting from the tech transfer process.Maximise the impact of dissemination activities such as workshops, seminars, and training sessions to promote knowledge transfer.About You / QualificationsExperience in innovation management, technology transfer, or knowledge transfer with a track record in managing technology transfer projects.Strong stakeholder management skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.A strong understanding of intellectual property rights, data governance, and technology transfer processes.Knowledge of innovation management and productisation strategies.Familiarity with legal terminology associated with IP protection, legal agreements and contracts.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Rewards And Benefits28 days annual leave plus bank holidaysPrivate medical and Permanent Health InsuranceDiscretionary annual bonusGroup personal pension schemeLife assurance up to 4 x annual salaryGreen travel schemesWorking ArrangementsWe are a hybrid working organisation with flexible options from day one.
