User Experience (UX) Designer – Key Responsibilities

  • Design and refine intuitive, accessible user journeys, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes for web and mobile interfaces
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Development, Content, and Marketing to deliver seamless digital experiences
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions to deeply understand user needs and pain points
  • Translate research insights into actionable design recommendations to drive product growth, engagement, and satisfaction
  • Champion inclusive, human-centred design practices – always optimising for accessibility, diversity, and global audiences
  • Ensure UX and interface consistency across product touchpoints, maintaining and evolving design systems
  • Stay updated on emerging UX/UI trends, interaction models, and usability best practices for continuous product evolution
  • Advocate for the user across the organisation, sharing findings, rationale, and design wins to fuel ongoing improvement

Ideal UX Designer Profile

  • Portfolio-Driven: Demonstrable experience designing digital products or platforms, with a strong portfolio highlighting process and impact
  • User-Centred: Skilled in research and usability testing—translates insights into straightforward, delightful experiences
  • Collaborative Communicator: Communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical peers; open to feedback and iterative workflows
  • Proficiency: Command of modern design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar) and working knowledge of design systems
  • Analytical & Curious: Obsessed with metrics and outcomes; uses data and experimentation to inform, challenge, and refine design solutions
  • Adaptable & Agile: Comfortable with ambiguity, thrives in a fast-paced, scaling environment
  • Experience: At least 1-2 years in UX or product design settings (agency, in-house, SaaS, or digital platforms)

Desirable Experience & Skills – UX Best Practices

  • Practical experience with accessibility standards (WCAG), inclusive design, and localisation
  • Background in the creator economy, subscription platforms, or marketplaces
  • Knowledge of rapid prototyping, design sprints, or Lean UX methodologies
  • Familiarity with front-end development principles and handoff processes
  • Multi-lingual or multicultural design experience is a plus
