VP of Engineering - AI for Real Estate - London (Hybrid 2/3 days a week in office)

A well-funded startup that is revolutionising financial modelling and data insights for the real estate industry is looking for a VP of Engineering to join their team.

What will you be doing?

• Lead and scale a team of 7 engineers across backend, frontend, and AI
• Define technical strategy and architecture for a rapidly growing platform
• Partner with Product and Design teams to deliver high-impact features
• Build engineering culture, processes, and operational excellence
• Own delivery of complex financial and AI-driven products
• Shape the technical roadmap while mentoring engineers at all levels

What are we looking for?

• Proven track record leading engineering teams in high-growth environments
• Strong technical expertise: Python, React, AWS, databases, system design
• Balance of strategic vision and hands-on architectural guidance
• Passion for developing people and building high-performing teams
• Experience translating business goals into technical execution
• Bonus: PropTech, FinTech, or AI/data-heavy domain experience
