Overview

We are looking for graduates for our Planning and Development (Civils Design) team. You will work in a leading Engineering and Professional Advisory services consultancy, in a collaborative environment, applying your skills to a diverse range of clients and projects. The role offers opportunities for progression across a variety of sectors including defence, energy, residential and logistics & distribution.

Responsibilities

  • Master planning, concept and detailed civil engineering designs including: Highway design, Earthworks design, Surface water drainage design and Foul water drainage design.
  • Utility services coordination.
  • Completing design calculations and drawing outputs.
  • Production of engineering reports and specifications.
  • Attending design team meetings.

  • Monklands Hospital
  • Eden Project
  • York Central

Graduate Development Programme

Our two-year Graduate Development programme supports personal and professional development through blended learning, core business and professional skills training, mentoring for professional registration and on-the-job experience.

What We Look For

  • Graduates with at least a 2:1 in a relevant subject (degree or masters).
  • Aptitude for engineering and consulting, a passion for the built environment, infrastructure and economy.
  • Creativity, problem-solving drive and willingness to share new ideas.

  • Candidates must complete the application form in full and may need to complete an online skill enabler assessment. Both parts are essential to the recruitment process.
  • Expected start dates: April or September 2026.
