Join to apply for the 2026 Graduate Programme - Transport & Infrastructure - Civil role at WSP.

We are seeking graduates for our Civil teams who are adaptable and eager to learn in a leading Engineering and Professional Advisory consultancy. You will contribute to a collaborative environment, applying your skills to a variety of clients and projects across services including bridges, airport planning and advisory, airfield engineering, maritime engineering, and pavements.

Responsibilities

  • Work on exciting and innovative civil projects across specialist services (bridges, airport planning & advisory, airfield engineering, maritime engineering, pavements).
  • Gain hands-on experience, early responsibility, and cross-disciplinary collaboration on small and large-scale projects.
  • Receive mentorship from experienced engineers and build a solid foundation for a career in engineering within a global industry.
  • Contribute to day-to-day activities such as inspections, design, assessments, reporting, asset management, and project management, depending on the team.
  • Support proposal development and bids for potential new projects where applicable.

Qualifications

  • Graduated with at least a 2:2 in a master’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject.
  • Evidence of strong motivation for engineering and a desire to contribute to the built environment, infrastructure, places and the economy.
  • Available to start in April or September 2026.
  • Completed application in full with all required questions answered; online skill enabler assessments may be part of the process.
  • Desire to learn, be creative, solve problems, and share new ideas with the team.
