The Role

As Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the finance team with day-to-day operations. The role will have a strong focus on cashiering duties, ensuring accurate handling of client monies, and maintaining financial control across a high-quality commercial property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out cashiering duties including processing receipts, payments, and transfers
  • Complete regular bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
  • Post transactions and ensure ledgers are kept up to date within the property management system
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, statements, and month-end processes
  • Liaise with colleagues, property managers, and stakeholders to resolve queries
  • Provide support with ad hoc financial tasks as required

The Person

  • Experience in an accounts support role, ideally within commercial property
  • Familiarity with TRAMPS or other property management/accounting systems desirable
  • Strong knowledge of cashiering duties and client money handling
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work to deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamworking skills
  • Proficient with MS Excel and financial systems
