Overview
Our client is an award-winning, leading consultancy with opportunities across Edinburgh or Glasgow for part qualified, nearly qualified analysts/senior, and just qualified actuarial consultants to join their central offices - but agile working being encouraged moving forward.
The company have continued to grow, won new business and obtained new projects therefore have additional resource need for those both experienced and who fit within their culture. You will be mainly providing a high quality actuarial service to trustees and corporate and/or private clients surrounding employee benefits schemes but there are several roles available depending on career aspirations.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality actuarial service to trustees and corporate/private clients around employee benefits schemes.
- Work in a close-knit team, delivering services to a portfolio of clients with strong communication to build trusted client relationships.
- Prepare client invoices, value pension benefits, and apply technical actuarial calculations.
Qualifications
- Members of the Institute or Faculty of Actuaries working towards actuarial qualifications; at least 1 year of pensions experience with knowledge of Defined Benefit schemes preferred.
- Willingness to pursue exams; study support available; opportunity to progress to a fully qualified actuary.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills.
