Our Actuarial & Consulting Team comprises over 400 pensions consultants and actuaries advising a diverse range of clients across private, public and not-for-profit sectors. We advise on everything from helping trustees and sponsors to manage defined benefit plans, running large-scale communications projects and implementing alternative reward and pension provision. This role sits in the Risk Settlement team, which provides full insurance de-risking services for Trustees and Sponsors of Defined Benefit pension schemes and services to insurers.This is a key strategic area for Isio, with anticipated growth in this sector as we evolve our propositions to meet market needs.ResponsibilitiesSupport the delivery of advice to clients, including managing key projects directly or supporting partners and directors.Engage in the technical aspects of projects, build and maintain client relationships, work as part of a team, and develop colleagues.Assist in the development of new business with existing and new clients.Understand the pensions insurance industry and build relationships with insurers.Help develop client strategies to approach the insurance market and prepare schemes to approach insurers.Provide client advice on transactions to meet objectives and support post-transaction processes through to wind-up.Progress to lead the delivery of broking projects for clients, developing technical expertise and consulting skills.There will be opportunities to explore various areas of de-risking consulting and work with a wide range of clients in the Insurance Team, collaborating with other specialist teams to achieve the best outcomes.Location & Working ModelThe Risk Settlement team is based across multiple UK offices, with locations including Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Croydon, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, London, Manchester and Reading.
