Join to apply for the Agile Delivery Manager role at DWP Digital

This role is for an Agile Delivery Manager within Bereavement & Care, supporting citizens via digital services during key life events. You will be accountable for one of seven teams and contribute to the broader delivery community.

Overview

You will enable a multi-disciplinary team through different phases, using fresh ideas and leading-edge tech to build and maintain digital solutions used by millions of people.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach agile delivery teams, identify blockers, and enable delivery of services with stakeholders.
  • Ensure the team has what it needs to deliver the best services; resolve blockers and find effective paths forward.
  • Foster an environment focused on individuals and interactions, values and behaviours, and user-centric delivery rather than heavy process or documentation.
  • Contribute to the broader delivery community and coach, mentor, and empower team members.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need? How will this be assessed?

Our application process includes both a technical statement and a personal statement. This is your opportunity to showcase clear examples of how you meet the following:

  • Technical: describe your experience delivering software at pace in an agile environment.
  • Personal: demonstrable experience of agile principles and practices; ability to lead a team, promote healthy team culture, manage dynamics, and foster continuous improvement; experience in building stakeholder relationships; proactive learning and development.

The sift panel will use the information you provide to assess your experience, skills and knowledge against the above.
