Your new role, what’s involved

  • Work on a variety of projects simultaneously, liaising with other disciplines (Facades, Acoustics, Structures) to inform design and safety decisions.
  • Present designs to local authorities and the Fire Service; identify design changes to enhance building safety.
  • Learn and apply software packages, fire standards, and participate in team briefings and client updates; engage in professional development.
  • Support professional registration toward IFE and other organisations; participate in a bespoke development programme for fire engineers.
  • Engage in training areas including technical report writing, project management, communications, commercial concepts, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • BSc (BEng) or MSc (MEng) in Fire, Structural, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in the fire engineering consulting industry.
  • This role can be based from any of our UK major offices.
