The Role - Associate Product Manager


This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and technically curious individual looking to build a career in product management. As an Associate Product Manager, you''ll work closely with senior product leaders, gaining end-to-end experience in the product lifecycle while directly contributing to the evolution of innovative Smart Grid and Energy Market software solutions.


You''ll be the voice of the user, translating real-world feedback into actionable insights that shape future development. Your work will be central to improving customer experience and supporting the go-to-market strategy.


Key Responsibilities



  • Drive product discovery by analysing user feedback, conducting market research, and testing ideas.

  • Act as a customer champion, representing their needs in product design and strategy.

  • Create and maintain high-quality product documentation (user requirements, user stories, etc.).

  • Support backlog management and sprint planning with cross-functional development teams.

  • Support product demos with prospective and existing users.

  • Collaborate across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to launch new products and enhancements.

  • Research market and competitor trends to inform positioning and roadmap decisions.

  • Build a deep understanding of global power system challenges and how technology can solve them.


About You



  • Degree (2:1 or higher) in Engineering or Software Engineering.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity.

  • Organised and self-motivated with strong ownership and accountability.

  • Comfortable in fast-paced, evolving environments with a willingness to learn quickly.

  • Exposure to software development OR product management.

  • Bonus: Knowledge of grid technologies, power systems, or energy markets.
