Position

Our Business and Client Services Team works closely with existing and potential clients, internal teams and alliance partners, positioning the Company at the forefront of its sectors. We are seeking a Bid Writer to join our growing team. You will be energised by working in multidisciplinary teams and share the Company's values of innovation, excellence, and integrity. You will be excited by the opportunity to:

  • Complete in-depth reviews of tender information, contracts, and specifications to understand bid requirements (technical and non-technical), response structures and scoring criteria for opportunities up to £50m
  • Design win themes that are concise and compelling, providing an authentic narrative throughout the bid
  • Liaise with digital and data subject matter experts to obtain essential information and design the overall solution
  • Write bid responses to meet the solution design and convey the authentic voice of the organisation
  • Drive continual improvement of responses using all available resources
  • Create new or amend existing content including standard responses as requirements change
  • Review and critique bids written by others to ensure high-quality submissions
  • Improve knowledge management tools and practices for bids
  • Ensure collateral for bids (case studies, statistics, infographics) is accessible and reflective of our services
  • Learn from bid feedback to continuously improve proposition development and outcomes

Requirements

  • Demonstrable professional experience writing compelling bids and proposals for complex digital transformation programmes
  • Excellent business and persuasive writing skills, with experience writing about technical subject matter
  • Bid management experience, ideally in a B2B or professional services environment; we are looking for bid writers rather than coordinators or managers
  • Degree in a relevant subject
  • Able to work under pressure with short deadlines in a fast-paced and agile environment
  • Excellent work planning and time management skills
  • Ability to balance conflicting deadlines and priorities
  • A meticulous attention to detail
  • Punctuality, reliability, and commitment to the role
