About the Role
As a Bid Writer, you will play a key role in crafting high-quality, compelling written content for tender submissions. Working closely with bid managers, technical teams, and clients, you'll produce tailored, accurate, and persuasive responses that demonstrate value, compliance, and capability. You'll be involved in a range of projects across the UK construction sector—including public frameworks, private sector contracts, and competitive PQQ/SQ/EOI submissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Write, edit, and format high-quality responses for construction-related bids and tenders.
- Collaborate with bid managers and clients to gather and translate technical input into clear, concise content.
- Develop responses that align with client objectives, bid requirements, and scoring criteria.
- Contribute to bid strategy, solution development, and win themes.
- Support in reviewing and proofreading submissions to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Occasionally assist with bid review and training services offered by our client.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in bid or tender writing, ideally within the construction industry.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a focus on clarity and impact.
- Ability to interpret technical information and turn it into persuasive content.
- Familiarity with public and private sector procurement processes.
- A proactive, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven approach.
- Comfortable working remotely and independently within a collaborative team.
