Part-Time Delivery Driver – Long Eaton, Derbyshire

You will join a reputable and growing Asian food and grocery delivery company in Long Eaton as a Part-Time Delivery Driver to deliver food and grocery products to customers across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. You will ensure timely service, safe handling, and excellent customer interaction, with flexible working hours.

You will

• Carry out deliveries of food and grocery items to customers in a timely and professional manner.
• Load and unload items, ensuring they are secure and undamaged during transport.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and promptly report any issues or delays.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery updates.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean, roadworthy, and compliant with food delivery requirements.
• Follow all road safety regulations and company procedures.

Requirements

• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Valid UK driving licence held for at least 3 years.
• Access to an approved vehicle suitable for food and grocery delivery.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver (preferably in food or grocery delivery).
• Fluency in English with strong communication skills.
• Good knowledge of routes in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
• Ability to work independently with good time management skills.
• Physically fit to handle loading and unloading tasks.
• Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as required.
