Are you a meticulous and insightful Business Intelligence Analyst looking to make a real impact? Join our dynamic Commercial Data team at AXA UK during an exciting phase of growth and transformation. You will analyse complex data sets, uncover actionable insights, and help shape strategic decisions across AXA UK. This is an opportunity to influence how we harness data to drive innovation and improve performance for our customers. AXA supports a flexible, balanced approach to work location and schedule, with at least two days per week (40%) away from home, moving to three days per week (60%) in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyse, and interpret complex data sets to generate actionable insights via reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
  • Work closely with key business units to understand information needs and provide tailored reporting solutions.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency by conducting regular data audits and validation checks.
  • Identify data discrepancies and collaborate with data owners to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to enhance reporting processes and tools, driving continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in data analysis and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data insights with business objectives.
  • Present findings clearly to various audiences, ensuring actionable recommendations are understood.

Qualifications

  • Insurance industry experience, understanding of the insurance lifecycle, terminology and regulatory environment.
  • Demonstrable experience in analysing complex data sets and deriving meaningful insights.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Power BI and Excel and database management skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile delivery teams.
  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and quality of data.
  • Confident in presenting findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong critical thinking skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • A proactive attitude towards learning and staying updated on industry trends.
  • Eligibility and authorization to work in the United Kingdom (precondition of employment).
