Overview

Moat Homes Limited is looking for a Business Process Analyst as part of the Transformation team. Hours: 35 per week, Monday–Friday. Salary: £49,200 to £61,500 per annum (salary offered dependent on experience). Contract: Permanent. Location: flexible with agile working; IT equipment provided to work from home and at our Dartford office.

Your role

Role: Business Process Analyst

You will join our Transformation team and spend time working independently on discrete assignments focused on business improvement, taking a lead role where appropriate. You will operate under the direction of project managers on larger transformation projects, conducting detailed business analysis to aid successful delivery and drive continuous improvement across organisational processes.

Responsibilities

  • Document current state processes and conduct analysis to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement, in line with Moat’s business process mapping standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to capture desired future state processes and business requirements aligned with organisational goals.
  • Design and deliver targeted process reviews using lean methodologies to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, root causes of issues, and support future state requirements and project benefits measurements.
  • Develop engaging stakeholder sessions to gather requirements, communicate findings, and facilitate the implementation of process improvements.
  • Support project delivery by creating business process requirement specifications and use cases, plus user acceptance testing plans and test scripts to ensure solutions meet defined requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with technical resources including Data Analysts, CRM Analysts, and Technical Business Analysts to feed business requirements into technical specifications.

What we’re looking for

• Experience as a Business Analyst, with exposure to the housing or real estate sector. • Ability to work independently and within a project context, with strong analytical and stakeholder engagement skills. • Experience with process mapping, lean methodologies, data analysis, and requirements gathering. • Familiarity with supporting project delivery through specification development and UAT planning. • Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and translating business needs into technical requirements.
