Overview

I am currently recruiting for an experienced Business Systems Manager for an award-winning building services company, based on the outskirts of Bromley.

This is a multi-faceted, pivotal role and reports directly into the Board Director (and other stakeholders), ensuring business needs are met, targets are hit, and the company is running efficiently and effectively across all areas in a successful, positive and collaborative manner.

This role would suit someone technically minded and competent (although this is not an IT Manager's type role) and it is essential to also have experience and capabilities across the other business functions and back-office management skills.

The Business Systems Manager is responsible for executing, supporting, implementing, and innovating strategic change and continual improvement across all areas of the business, covering some of the following.

Responsibilities

  • IT - laptops, phones, IT consumables, cyber security & insurances, licensing, configuring of products, hardware and software purchases, front and back end user experience understanding
  • Fleet Management - overseeing fleet of company cars & vans, purchasing, insurance policies, authorising repairs etc
  • People Management - direct reports to this role, covering warehouse, IT, Office Manager, performance monitoring & resolving issues and offering solutions to create a happy and collaborative workplace
  • Compliance - dealing with ISO audits, ensuring all areas of business are meeting requirements to maintain accreditations

Skills and Experience

Worked in a similar role, such as Business Systems Manager, Business Process Manager, Business Manager, Busness Support Manager, Business Leader, Business improvement, ideally within a building services or facility management, M&E, or Environmental sector.

Proven experience showcasing business processes & systems, innovation, leadership.

Stakeholder management.

Strong organisational and communication skills.

Effective management style.

Approachable, open minded, creative ideas, dynamic, and always looking to lead inspire, motivate, encourage and enable change.

Commercially aware and with financial acumen.

Salary: £50 - £60k (doe) along with a comprehensive benefits package is on offer.
