Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies that align with retailer objectives to drive growth in the ambient food sector.
• Become the retailers partner of choice by providing category expertise and insights to identify potential opportunities for growth.
• Utilise all available data sources to generate insights that drive the category and meet customer needs.

Role Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Experienced category manager with a preference to having worked with major multiples before.
• Proven experience of driving customer relationships to create win win opportunities.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced expertise in using Excel.
• Ability to utilise key data sources such as Circana, Kantar, Mintel and turn data into insights to deliver to customers in a structured way.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt style to the audience.
• Strong organisational skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Good commercial awareness and a knowledge of FMCG / market conditions.
