Morgan Hunt are working with a well known Public Sector organisation in Glasgow

to assist in hiring a Category Specialist with a strong background in construction procurement to support a growing project.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and manage strategic sourcing plans aligned with the project goals
• Lead procurement for construction and infrastructure projects
• Maximise value and ensure compliance with public sector procurement legislation
• Work closely with colleagues in Capital Investment, Development and Legal to drive best practice and commercial outcomes
• Build and manage Group-wide construction frameworks and supplier relationships
• Drive sustainability, innovation and value-add in our supply chain

Qualifications and Experience:

• A strong track record in procurement, particularly within construction or infrastructure
• A deep understanding of public sector procurement regulations and frameworks
• Experience managing end-to-end procurement processes
• MCIPS qualification (or working towards)
