Salary: Up to £50,000 depending on experience and skills.

What you'll be doing

  • Foster and maintain a stakeholder communication network
  • Use tools and techniques to support to investigate business situation, evaluate actions and document requirements
  • Understand both labour and non labour cost base for the functional area of responsibility
  • Analyse the business impact of change requirements from multiple sources; application driven change (releases), business-initiated change, people strategy driven change and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Be responsible for ensuring change control and change management procedures are followed within the project team applying appropriate levels of change governance
  • Manage the preparation and presentation of change assessments with recommendations to weekly/monthly Change Review Board(s)
  • Collect, understand, qualify, and transmit the business requirements for the project to key stakeholders for impact assessment, initiation/statement of work, development and delivery phases
  • Work with the appropriate technical leads and 3rd Party organisations to ensure solutions are properly designed, developed, tested and implemented
  • Validate the design with stakeholders to ensure that the design satisfies the business requirements
  • Leverage best practice and ensure structured documentation and governance

Your skills and experiences

Essential

  • Business Analysis professional qualification or proven working experience
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to plan and control workloads
  • Stakeholder management and the ability to foster and build relationships

Desirable

  • Extensive operational experience, ideally in a Shared Service environment
  • Understanding and awareness of organisational financial business planning
  • Project Management professional qualification or proven working experience
  • Knowledge and experience of Business Process Modelling Notation toolsets
  • Understanding and awareness of the external HR IT market landscape
